2008 PSCA Superstreet 8.60 Champion
Cutting Edge Motorsports was formed by Doug Spencer and Rick Jaeger. Since it's inception, CEM has been all about racing america's finest sports car, THE CORVETTE. Doug and Rick started with a C4 corvette running NHRA's 9.90 Supergas category. After a few years with this car, they changed to a C5 Don Davis built Super class car. This car had over 1150 hp and would run into the seven second range at over 170 mph. This car has now left the team and is residing on the east coast.
For 2008 Doug Crumlich has joined the team with his C4 Hairy Glass equiped Super Class Corvette running a best of 7.93 @ 172mph. The newest addition, Rick Jaeger's C4 stock eliminator/bracket Corvette currently in the paint shop.
